The Swift is the model with which Suzuki launched its world strategy. Produced at seven plants around the world, it is sold in more than 100 countries and territories. Its dynamic performance and sporty styling have earned it 63 Car of the Year awards in 19 countries and taken it to sales of one million units faster than any other model in the company’s history.

Now, Suzuki has realised even higher levels of Swift performance and styling and combined them with superior fuel economy and environmental performance to create a sports compact that is an ideal match for today’s needs. The result is the all-new Swift compact supermini.

Further-evolved dynamics, more emotionally appealing styling, and stronger environmental credentials make the new Swift an unmistakable embodiment of Suzuki’s “Way of Life!“ brand philosophy.

Suzuki aims for annual sales of about 100,000 units in Europe following the launch this Autumn with full year UK sales accounting for around 10,000 of these.

With the Swift, driving a compact car does not mean settling for less; within its modest dimensions, Suzuki has condensed all the performance, handling and other essentials for great enjoyment and satisfaction while easing the environmental burden. Carrying forward the previous model’s easy-to-manage compact dimensions, it hones its great design and performance while achieving lower CO2 emissions.

Unmistakably an evolution of its predecessor, the new Swift is even better in the ways that count most: more fun to drive thanks to exhilarating, sporty handling and lower CO2 emissions as well as being more attractive to look at, thanks to a more sophisticated sporty modern design. It’s an even clearer reflection of Suzuki’s desire to offer a sports compact that is perfectly suited to the lifestyles and demands of today.
